Safari Snorkel releasing snorkel for 3rd-gen 4Runners
I've confirmed via ARB management that ARB/Safari Snorkel are releasing snorkels for both 3rd and 4th-gen 4Runners at long last.
No release date yet nor do I have pics as of yet. I was emailed and told an Aussie engineer is coming over here in a couple of weeks for test fitments. We hope to be part of that; if we are, I will post photos and info at that time.
Hope to have more good news soon. Cheers,
Dave

Heard that at SEMA!
It will be nice to have a snorkel designed specifically for the 3rd gen and not have to swap intake tubes around.
Now if i can only plumb the turbo intake to the factory air tube in the fender.....

Hopefully it's a better price than some of the other companies out there. $400 for a chunk of fancy plastic is ridiculous.

Given the price of their other snorkels, I'd say at least that

Hopefully they design it to where we don't have to mess around with the power antenna. Mine still works and I'd like to keep it.

Hopefully it's not stupid expensive. Regardless, it's about time. While they're at it they need to get one rolling for the 5th gen.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ARB/Safari Snorkel: make this a "Long Arm" snorkel. The nubbin Tacoma one looks, well, touched.
I'm in for a group buy if it's Long Arm.

I'm good for a group buy too. I just hope they release it sometime reasonably soon...we don't need 5 years of "test fitting"!
Thanks OP for the info...let us know if you hear anything else...thanks
