Let me see your junk in the trunk...

I've read through write ups and have seen different setups some of you guys have in the cargo area. Recovery gear/tool storage, subwoofers, etc. Some of which are extremely creative and useful. Just thought it'd be cool for there to be a thread for everyone to post pictures and even links to write ups of their cargo area setups to perhaps give others ideas for their own T4R. So go ahead and post away...

Here's mine, nothing special.
Custom cut Diamond Plate Aluminum for the floor and a Contico Tool box secured to the anchor points using pieces of chain with carabiners and turnbuckles to keep it in place and 2 LED 12in strips to light the baby up!
(Don''t mind the mess or crappy photo haha)

Nothing special, but it's full of hunting stuff.

Come spring it'll be full of fishing stuff.

This was last month. I now have a set of winter clothing, a gallon of water, and I have some straps and gear in the wall compartment. In the spring I'll be installing a cargo shelf/drawer setup.

Wal Mart carries Sterilite brand containers. I bought the large one:

and you can get the small clear containers with lids that fit perfectly inside (up to six in the large one):

Monty, if you don't already you'll want to throw a strap across that so it doesn't kill you in an accident. My wife does injury potential work and you would be amazed how many people are seriously injured or killed not from the accident itself but from unsecured cargo. [/mom_mode_off] haha

I currently have all of my cargo interior panels removed to add more tie down hooks--something I have intended to do for years now.

Just finished my low-profile cargo platform - I dig it for keeping things tidy. There is one bigger compartment accessed from the other side for items used less frequently.

You're probably right, but I doubt that it would ever make it up to me - it's pretty big.

Does the container ever move around when you're driving?

I really like the platform. Yours looks well built, clean, and simple. Job well done my good sir

It doesn't - stays in place very well. Probably because of the Husky liner.

That's a really nice looking platform, you should do a write up with dimensions and such. Where did the compartments come from?

I second that! Looks like something I could actually handle with my zero carpentry skills

Thanks guys, I was going for simple and effective and love the way it came out. I'll take a few more pics and dimensions and post a "cargo for non-carpenters" type of thread in the next day or two. I found the heavy bins online, I'll include that info too.
