Judging from the comments... sounds like you did all the right improvements. As you said in your previous posts... props to Thorrider for trying it... and showing us how NOT to do it.... It made it possible for us to learn from his mistakes, and improve the design.
I am not 100% what is going on with that. I uploaded them all to tapatalk which now seems to be completely useless. I'll have to work on getting another picture hosting service I guess. I've been through 3 so far.

Finally got around to projectors for an upgrade. Man what a difference. Bambi is now visible. I didn't do anything fancy with these. I need to tweak the aiming a little as well and finish all the wiring up for the parking lights and turn signals. In the end I think I will be happy.

Trying to see if there is a way to wire in a drl circuit on a 98 that I can control. I know the stalks from the later models won't work with the steering column but any ideas are always appreciated.

How has your 2nd gen tire carrier held up over the years?

Still as sturdy as ever. I am hoping to get a redesign in with improvements as the heim joints are going to need to be replaced at some point. The Michigan winters have not been kind. It's only rust to the joints themselves and doesn't effect the tire carrier at all but the redesign would look more polished and I could probably keep the curves closer to the body.

I did remove it two years ago just to check everything and so far so good. No body damage, rust, or weakening of the mount point was detected.

A changing of the guard has taken place. My 3rd gen will be going on to do bigger and better things with someone else. However I will still float around and will have a new build thread sometime soon.

What shrouds are those? Did you get it from the retrofit source?

Yep. I can't remember the name off the top of my head but here's a better photo of the headlights. I didn't like the chrome so I busted that off and painted matte black.

So I had forgotten that I had this issue during the summer but my washer fluid has been freezing because its exposed to the elements even with deicer.

$30 bucks at Home Depot.
2' of 3" pipe
2' of 2" pipe
3" cap
3" elbow
3 to 2" adapter.

If you can find a eccentric adapter you can tuck it a little further from the ac compressor but it's not dangerously close.

I lucked out with the stock adapter fitting in there. I had to slightly modify the rubber seal but trimming it was pretty easy.

Behold the new one

The end.

A very good friend of mine bought it off me. We helped repair and modify each others rigs for a few years when we were neighbors.

I will say that I will never ever tow a vehicle on a trailer through the Chicago area again in my life lol. What a nightmare
