FJ Cruiser bilstein shocks/springs lift HELP!

Hey so I am new at this and i have been looking around to find a way to do my first lift on my 97 4runner SR5.

[URL="http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/4765019001.html"]

So I found this on craigslist. so my understanding is that these shocks will work for the lift but will the coil springs work for the lift as well? would it fit under my rig and how much of a lift would i be looking at getting. If so would I be able to use the top hats off of my stock front coil struts? or would I have to get new top hats?

Also is this a good deal and worth getting and putting on my rig? right now Im at stock height.

Thanks any info will really help and be much appreciated

The FJ front shock will NOT work, dont know about the spring. Best OEM lift for the front is the Tundra TRD springs and shocks.

okay thanks i have looked for the tundra trd front spring/shock for a while now and I cant seem to find anything. The only thing i have found is a NON TRD tundra spring/shock will that work but just not give the same amount of height?

Do you know where I could find a TRD Tundra spring/shock?

To put it nicely, the search function and the FAQ thread are both very useful tools. Many answers can be found here 3rd Gen 4Runner Lift Information and FAQ's

And Rickashay has a comprehensive review with writeup and part numbers here **Rickashay's OME vs. TRD Tundra/LC Review**

Toyota dealership will have the trd tundra springs and Sonoran Steel also sells them in their lift kits and im sure you could order just the fronts.
