Tacoma TRD Off Road Duratrac Combo Rubbing Issue

So today I was just about read to throw on my set of Tacoma Trd Off Road LT265/75/16 Duratrac combo until my Fiance pointed out that they were rubbing on my UCA by a half an inch. Has anyone run into this problem? I was thinking of shaving down the UCA an inch or so where they hit, if not that I would consider spacers but budget is tight right now. I was a bit disappointed by this and thought they would fit with no problems.

Im in a 2001 3rd Gen with limited flares (if that helps any).

If anyone has any input please let me know as I would like to hear what people have to say. Thanks in advance!

Not sure about 1st gen Taco wheels but 2nd gens backspacing is 5.25" where as most 4Runner wheels is 4.5". Depending how much they are rubbing I would run spacers before trimming the UCAs.

Is it this set of wheels? I was thinking about buying them because they were confirmed to fit the big tundra brakes, but if I can't run the tires I need to I may reconsider.

Thanks! Yeah I think thats the route I will go, spacers are easier than trimming and trimming and much safer.

Yup, its that specific set of wheels with 265/75/16 Duratracs. I now need to run spacers due to this issue, its very slight rub but just enough to where I rub. Now im in the hunt to some spacers
