I had to cut the nut and studs off because the stud broke away from the tophat and was spinning with the nut

Jacked up in the sense that the mechanic who put it on used a nut with the wrong threads and just torqued it down as much as possible and broke the stud lol. **** that guy

Nice boring ass thread, good start. Three people read mine, so there!

I love my SS 1.2 installed back in 2009. Finally replaced my rear shocks in August with 70,000 miles (overdue). Customer service has been amazing every time I've emailed or called Steve, top rate. Excellent choice!

rossgoldie's DD/Camping/Whellin' Build Thread

Took the truck to break in the new suspension the other night up at Cuesta Ridge in San Luis Obispo with my off-road club.

Everything went great except for one thing. The nuts holding the rear sway bar to the axel sheared off! It might be because that the adapter bracket for the lift was slightly lower than the axel and caught on rocks. rossgoldie's DD/Camping/Whellin' Build Thread-imageuploadedbytapatalk1442630804-521585-jpg rossgoldie's DD/Camping/Whellin' Build Thread-imageuploadedbytapatalk1442630887-463059-jpg

Also my upper ball joint boot ripped on my drivers side. Oh well that one can wait

Update on the rear sway bar, I just took that sucker out. Because of the heavier coils from the lift I shouldn't feel that "lean" too much. Especially since my front sway bar is still firmly attached rossgoldie's DD/Camping/Whellin' Build Thread-imageuploadedbytapatalk1443212572-280127-jpg
