Brake Warning Light
For the past few months, the Brake Warning Light would turn on and off as I am driving. It usually turns on during acceleration, and will turn back off while cruising.
I have made sure the hand brake was not engaged and I am not aware of any other places it would work. Any ideas?

agreed.
usually this means you need front brakes. as the brakes wear, the pistons extend, increasing the volume of fluid pulled from the res.
or a leak. but based on your description, I don't think its a leak.

Brake warning light and faulty cruise control
I'm having issues with the brake warning light coming on, which I think might be related to issues with the cruise control--as it is faulty and often doesn't work or it disengages when it does work.
I have checked check brake fluid level in the reservoir and it's at "Max", and i changed the front brakes (pads, rotars, and caliper on one side) roughly two months ago. The vehicle doesn't pull to the left or right when I brake, so I know it isn't a cylinder problem... But still a problem.
Thoughts?

Based on your vehicle description it looks like you posted in the wrong section. Although just a thought check brake switches. Cruise control disengages if the brake is hit so maybe a bad switch could cause your issues. Although brake light only comes on if the parking brake is engaged and I’m not sure if that can disable cruise control.

maybe the float sank. you could slide the float up and see if the light goes off. or unplug the pigtail at the cap. double check the button on the park brake. make sure its being full pressed in.
but yes, if the brake warning light on, that will deactivate cruise control.

Also make sure the parking brake is completely dis-engaged. Sometimes that little switch telling it the handle is all the way down gets dirty and doesn't ground like it should. You can pull the center console to check if it comes to that.
