Rear door speaker mounting brackets

Did a speaker upgrade and needed a quick fix to fit the speakers. Made some 5 1/4 speaker brackets on my CNC laser. Can make more if anyone is interested. Made out of 3/16ths acrylic.

Those are pretty sweet. I just bought some just like that on a website about a month ago. Sweet that you can do it yourself.

Thanks! Just bought my first Runner last week. This was one of many upgrades. I have plenty of ideas to use the laser again. Let me know if you ever need something and I will see what I can come up with.

Would you be able to make a cutout for a 6-1/2" speaker? I'm interested in those mounting brackets.

I could make one for that. Only problem is the depth issue. Would have to put in multiple layers of acrylic to set the speaker out far enough to miss the window rail behind the speaker. I used the stock speaker brackets for those. Are you looking to replace the stock one?

Shallow mount 6.5" speakers will fit without interference.

Thanks. I'm guessing it has to be shallow mount on the front too? OP, do you make mounting brackets for the front too?

For the fronts I used some pioneer 6.5" and didn't need to replace the factory mount. I could make them for that part though to I guess.

I would have to design the front ones but I could sell them if you needed them. Will take me some time to design the front ones. Have a few other projects I am working on.

Regular sized 6.5" will work up front.

@area51

Here is a link to where you can buy them or download the design file. I figured some people may not be able to make them on their own without the right tools.

3rd Gen 4Runner Speaker Bracket -

Hope this helps!
