To level or not to level, that is the question

So I have a used OME lift installed, I don't know what part #'s or anything. The back is a good inch higher than the front. All seems good it flexes great and the shocks are old but still function fine.

Should I bother trying to lift the front to match the back or just leave it? I was going to see if I could get some spacers for the front but a buddy of mine told me I might run into CV boot ripping issues if I go much higher. Opinions?

I would measure your center of your hub up to the fender. I would not exceed 23" in the front. I lifted my 4Runner after 12 years on factory cv axels and had to replace both cv boots because the lift tore both sides. I have a diff drop with 3in lift and I measure 23" in the front.
Good luck

Depends on whether you like rake. I do, and I think an inch is about perfect. It gives the truck more of a crouched look, like it's ready to sprint or pounce. It also allows for rear drop when you load it so you don't look like you're dragging ass when you're carrying gear in the back.

Agreed, I'm not sure why people are pretty adamant to have their trucks level. Rake looks better, plus it will sag a bunch when you have it loaded up with gear or people. I HATE sag in the rear, it looks gross. Like the truck can't handle its load.
