"pumping" sound in engine after it's shut off.

My first post!
1996 SR5 automatic 178 000 km's.
When I shut the truck off (and actually walking away), I hear a noise coming from the hood, driver side. The sound reminds me of a pump or of someone "moaning" in pain lol!
Any ideas?
thanks a lot
Pat

Welcome! It's just the evap box on the drivers inner fender "equalizing" the pressure. Nothing to worry about.
