Don't quite understand your question...If you meant what lift did I use, I used TRD Tundra coils in the front, OME 906 in the rear, Bilstein 5100s all around.

I meant how much of a lift did you gain over stock ride height?

I gained 2" all around. To an educated eye, you can definitely tell it's lifted. To the general public, I doubt they'd notice, and that's with stock size tires.

Ok, thanks. That's too much for me. I need stock height for ease of getting in and out.

For what it's worth I'm running 285s on a hybrid 880/906 lift. The 906 rear coils are paired with OME trim packers (30mm DS and 20MM PS) to compensate for lean and the heavy bumper/tire carrier. Up front I'm running 880 coils with a trim packer on the DS and Toytec Top Plate Spacers both sides.

I've been VERY pleased with the load carrying capacity of the 906 coils. For example I had 4 heavy 265s, E load with wheels in the back last week along with the heavy rear bumper and tire carrier AND a full size 285, E load, hanging off the back with minimal sag. Also have had it loaded down many times with full camping gearing, 4 people and gear up top with minimal sag.

Running an ARB with a winch and steel cable up front as well and the 880s handle it fine with the top plate spacers.

I've been reading this post as I'm needing to replace shocks and possibly springs also. I need to know if this would work on a 2wd? Or is this strictly 4wd talk? What should I use to lift my rear back up?

Suspension parts (shocks/springs) are the same between 2wd and 4wd.

Not necessarily... for example, Bilstein lists different part numbers for 4WD/2WD on the 4600 series - on the front anyway, rears may be the same.

What could potentially be negative about this set-up, aside from a stiffer ride (which may actually be a benefit)? It sounds like CVs and driveline should be fine. Any other repercussions to look out for, other than a sweet looking rig?

I've only had the set-up for 2 weeks, so I can't say much for what repercussions may come down the road. But regarding a stiffer ride, I wouldn't call it stiff (in any negative sense) at all. In my opinion, it feels perfect. Not soft, not jarring, but right where it needs to be.

I'm still curious about the 880/906 setup. I was gonna go the tundra trd route but like the price of the 880s better and would like to do 5100s and OME specific for the 4runner. Just wonder if I'll get enough lift up front with 880 to be level. Anyone with this combo chime in with a pic!

Quick question - I'm going to be installing the OME 880 / 906 combination with Bilstein 5100's (4Runner specific).

For the fronts, which setting is correct? Will the 880's give me the 1.5"s at the lowest setting or do I need to move the clip up on the shock? I want to make sure I don't get reverse rake. Just want a mild lift and to replace the worn stuff, also don't want to take it all apart again to adjust if I can help it.

just ordered the 880s/906s & 5100s for front and rear. Im also wondering what perch should I set the 880s on so that it is as close to level and/or slightest front rake?
