Post All 3rd Gen 4runner Oem Coil Spring Part Numbers

Feel free to comment on any possible mistakes.

I noticed that some sites were not consistent in their labeling but I did my best to cross check the numbers with alternative sources.

Thanks so much for this, 7 years later! Anyone care to put the color codes next to the part numbers? Long shot I know. I'm really just trying to figure out the difference between the front springs on my 2000 V6 4WD. They are pink/white and yellow/white. Which goes where?

Here is an updated version from a post I did last year when I was looking into replacing the springs on my 1998 base model

Quote:
I went to my Toyota dealership to pick up a part today. While I was there I inquired about what it might cost to get a new set of springs so I would have a maximum cost for the parts.

The guy at the counter used my VIN to find the correct ones for my vehicle. The status of the supply is as follows:

48131-35160 SPRING, COIL, FR, RHF-- $186.71 UNAVAILABLE

48131-35330 SPRING, COIL, FR, LHF-- $249.05 AVAILABLE

48231-35151 SPRING, COIL, RR, REAR-- $175.00 x2 AVAILABLE

The total price (ignoring the fact they don't have them all) would be 786.76 plus tax which would get me well over $850 just for springs alone (price as of 8/21). My 4wd 4runner is a 1998 model year, but this likely can apply to 1996-1999 4runners with 4wd and 16 inch wheel option....
I believe that all springs for our 4runners are discontinued. At this point it's what ever Toyota has left, once they are gone they're gone

Some are discontinued but the "Great" ones still exist, the '99 Highlander 'Talls', listed here:

Front Suspension for 1999 Toyota 4Runner | Toyota of Cool Springs vParts

There really is no substitute for that MY springs & shocks, most of rest is the same among models.
