Why do people put trd stickers on 3rd gen 4runners?
Is it because they had a locker? I love the trd packages and if I was able to base it off of a reason I would get the stickers too.

They do it because the want to. Most have zero TRD parts on them, but who cares. If you want the stickers put them on.

Not to mention the fact that the TRD stickers use a proprietary nano-tech coating that when combined with hope, faith and pixie dust—reduces the overall drag coefficient of the truck enough to net a real-world increase in overall miles per gallon.
Depending on the sticker size, some owners have achieved 33mpg...

If placed correctly, the sticker actually adds a type of aerodynamics that will increase MPG and overall top speed.

I think you only get 5 HP increase when you put it on the glass.

I had a Tacoma Prerunner TRD for 12 years. The TRD tires (BFG Rugged trails) only lasted a few thousand miles before they had to be replaced. The TRD suspension also got replaced later on, leaving nothing TRD left on the truck (the E locker was available outside of the TRD package). It saw more rock, dirt, sand and mud miles than most 4wd 4Runners out there. It's not the drive in your axles, it's the drive in your heart.
