noobie here

Hi all my name is Pat, Some of you might recognize the SN without the "DAD". Yes, Im Nate's Dad. For some who don't know Nate, my wife and I lost him to an Autoimmune disease. I feel like i have to be here to continue working on his 4runner. I know this is where he got most of his good info.

What Nate got right now is an 1.5" spacer lift and 2" body lift with 33s. I want to go another 1 or 2" higher suspension wise.

By the way I am also on the 2nd gen xterra forum.

Thank you all.

That's tragic to hear!
Sorry for the loss of your son.
What a great way to keep his memory alive by continuing his work on his 4R.
I'm sure you'll love working and driving it around as much as your son did.
Best of luck to you!

Great to see his truck back in action. Looking forward to seeing the suspension upgrade. I always liked black sport editions, and his was done very tastefully. Lift, tires, window tint made it one sharp rig.

Welcome back. Plenty of brains on this board to get that truck in the air a little more.

Pat hey yeah i followed and was around when the news cam to us about nate.

Im glad to have you on the forum and deciding to keep the truck.

I was the one who offered you a body lift months ago when we got the news. but still if you have any body lift questions or anything like that please feel free to hit me up! send me a pm (private message) anytime, im always on the forum.

So your looking for a slightly higher suspension lift?
are you looking to change out the spacer lift for a better more comfortable ride?
What is your budget for parts?
Will you be doing the work yourself? im sure your very capable of doing it.

That is a great looking 4runner and I totally understand why you need to continue working on it and wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for all the welcome fellas, really appreciate it!
What do you suggest for me to go higher? maybe a new UCA to make some room? coilovers? how about the rear, what are my options? yes, I will do most of the work myself.

by the way here is the link of the mustang, It was hard for me to finish it(for now), but I felt I had to do it for Nate. You can read the description on what is all done to it.

Thank you again for the welcome and help.

Another welcome, and heart felt condolences from a fellow dad. I built a 65 coupe as a young man, had it 9 years. I since have built several fastbacks coupes and 1 convertible for other people. Those damn cars always find me. Anyway yours looks beautiful, a nice thing you have with the memories. I hope you become a runner enthusiast in your own right!

By the way I did a solid axle swap on a 04 Frontier, twice!

Welcome again

Pat. Coil overs, uca would be a nice set up for a very all around comfortable ride.

I just have coilovers and love them.

In the rear look into TOYTECH superflex coils. Great ride lift and even with towing.
Then you can choose your choice in rear shocks
