Keep up the good work.. Look forward to seeing those wheels and the rest of the build. Looks like it'll be a good one!

Great build so far! Looks like you've done some good research already and made great decisions on your to-do list. Really looking forward to seeing how this progresses. I can't believe how clean it is!

Great looking rig, what did you use to paint your grill? I like the blacked out look.

Thanks

The grill isn't painted, you can get them black on ebay or other places probably.

Great looking start. Can't wait to see it with the ARB front bumper on. I'm seriously considering getting one.

Got a couple new parts:

Sonoran Steel adjustable panhard bar:

And a used front diff from a 98. From what I was told on here is that the 98 is the same as my 99. My plan is to use this one to get gears and locker installed so its ready to drop in and reduce downtime. I am probably going to go 4:88. My gearing is fine right now even with the 285's. But when I start adding weight I think the 4:88 will be better. I don't know my official gearing right now. Body tag code would indicate 3:90 but it doesnt feel that way... So we will see when I pull them out!

Are you planning on putting an ARB in the front too??

Also do your rear bump stops make contact with the axle with the 3" bump stop extension? or have you tried? I'm looking for a bump stop solution for the rear of my 4runner but from measuring i don't think 3" is enough...
