Clutch Chatter!

When I am driving my truck cold, roughly for about 20 minutes after I stars it after a few hours of sitting, releasing the clutch petal in first gear results in significant shaking. It is pretty violent sometimes, and is very annoying otherwise. After I've driven for a while, all shaking goes away when accelerating from a stop.

My questions are: Should I deal with this? Is it a sign that something is wrong or my clutch is going bad? How can this be fixed? How expensive would it be? Or should I just deal?

Thank you for taking the time!

One more unrelated question: How often do I need to change my gear oil? I find that right after I change it, shifting is smooth, but after 6 months, it is not smooth and all and cumbersome. Therefore I change it every six months. Is this ridiculous?

it sounds like maybe oil is getting on the clutch. you notice any leaks? rear main perhaps?

You think the problems are connected?

Should you fix it(the clutch chatter)?
Well, I personally guarantee that it's not going to get better or go away.
Normal gear oil shouldn't degenerate in 6 months, so the problem is either not the gear oil, or you've somehow found the only known source of really bad gear oil in the USA.
