My questions are: Should I deal with this? Is it a sign that something is wrong or my clutch is going bad? How can this be fixed? How expensive would it be? Or should I just deal?
Thank you for taking the time!
One more unrelated question: How often do I need to change my gear oil? I find that right after I change it, shifting is smooth, but after 6 months, it is not smooth and all and cumbersome. Therefore I change it every six months. Is this ridiculous?

it sounds like maybe oil is getting on the clutch. you notice any leaks? rear main perhaps?
