Front end clunk, possibly steering rack

So I've had a clunk in my front end for a while. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side. It seems to happen most often while turning under load at slower speeds. I've checked all bolts on control arms, shocks, steering rack and it's all tight.

I took it in for an alignment a while ago and they said the alignment was good but I needed a new rack. My inner and outer tie rods only had about 7k on them so I ordered the newer style guide hoping that would fix it. I put that in and it made the steering tighter, but there is still about an inch of play in the steering wheel. That was a few weeks ago. Last Saturday I tightened up the guide a little and the clunk seems to be quieter. Here's a video of me pulling the drivers side wheel left and right while it was jacked up.

1st question. What would cause this much play in the rack. Could it be a replaceable part without doing a rebuild, or is it just time for a safari rack?

2nd question. Would this play cause the clunk, or could there be somethign else going on down there?

My clunk is sway bar bushings. You make no mention of them so I don't know if you've checked them or not.

Good thought. They're about 5 years old. I could really use a go pro.
