Exclamation Battery Voltage Help

I have a 98 2wd sr5 4Runner and last week it would barley start for me so I replaced the starter everything was good, a couple days later my voltage dropped below 10 and it wouldn't start so I replaced the alternator today and thought I would be set but I'm still only getting 13 volts at idle and 2,000+ rpms so I went down to autozone still had a warranty on my yellow top optima and they replaced it free and I thought for sure I'll be at 14+ volts and still no stuck at 13 volts I only have my CB hooked up and my amp for my subs which is only a 1200 watt amp and even with it turned off I can't get it up to 14 volts so any help on what could be causing this is much appreciated thank you!

You say you replaced your alt. Did you use high quality OEM, or aftermarket parts store. I have had this issue with aftermarket alts on many vehicles. Same issue on my brothers drag talon. He was getting low voltage, replaced alt and after three different ones we threw in a 220k mileage OEM alt I had laying around. Bam 14v solid.

I also see you have audio system. Unhook all cables from battery and see if that helps also. Then you know you have a wiring issue wiht the amp.

I used the Duralast from autozone and I'll check it with my amp unhooked

x2 JayRolla. I had a buddy go through 3 or 4 autozone alternators until one finally worked. If you want a cheap OEM one, check out Yota Jim's junkyard in Denver. They'd probably ship ya one. Are your battery cables in decent shape?
