You'll be fine, don't sweat it. Plenty of people do mods like this. Cops aren't worried about stuff like that, just as long as your tail lights work.

Is this a joke.
Assuming you are serious you have nothing to worry about.
Try to live a braver life.

Yes you will be pulled over.
Every cop knows exactly how each model year vehicle looks and will know if you're using equipment from a freshened version of your generation.
I'd pepper my angus if I were you.

Hell no. Way illegal. Minimum of two years of prison if they find out.

I'm quite disappointed now. At first after reading the OP's post—I thought damn, this weed is really strong cause that sounded unreal. But then I read the replies and realized I'm not as stoned as I thought...

i thought it was a joke too, but i think he is either a kid or a person who is relatively new to U.S. or both.
He sure does seem to love his t4r and determined to get 99-02 grill and 01-02 tails lights. haha
What i don't get is 99-02 grill are the same so I suspect he has 98 t4r.

Nope, my 2000 Grille is not the same as an 02. Granted the difference is so minor it's very hard to notice, but it IS different.
I have to admit, I got a kick out of this post.

It's a tough crowd OP. The A-holes laughed when I told them
I achieved substantial weight reduction after wrapping my hood
with carbon fiber-looking body wrap and upgrading to a genuine
carbon fiber keychain to replace that aluminum brick dragging me down.
You'll get a nice HP boost if you add the TRD emblem in as many places as
possible but it will add a longer sentence to that tail light/grill felony.
I say do it, though. Run with scissors too if you want. Every man dies but not
every man lives.
