4x Innovations front plate bumper winch mount/controller location

Installing a new 4 x Innovations front plate bumper with a Warn M 10000 winch, trying to find where to locate the winch controller, I have searched high an low on posts relating to a winch install on this bumper with no luck. Sunday so I cannot contact Adam at 4 x Innovations to see what I am missing. Controller is supposed to install onto the side of the winch where the electrical posts are located but there is no room. Maybe this is something simple that I am not getting. Anyone out there that has this bumper with a winch that can help me out would be appreciated.
Thanks,
OutdoorLF

most of these bumpers are made to hold an 8000 pound winch. unless you can relocate the box somewhere you may need to do some cutting in order to fit it.

Thanks for your reply D Farms, Warn M 8000 and M 10000 winch has the exact dimensions so that is not the issue but appreciate your input. I am hoping to find someone that has installed a 4xinnovations bumper with this series winch and where they mounted the controller.

Well it looks like you don't have room to bolt directly on top of the winch. So you will have to relocate it. It's completely up to you where you want to put it now.

Possible options: bolt it on top of the Bumper, bolt it inside the engine bay, bolt it somewhere inside the bumper where you can still access it from the "access holes" in front of the bumper, etc..

I ran into this same issue with my ARB bumper and Warn VR8000. As mentioned, you just have to relocate the box. Unfortunately this means extending the wires, which aren't cheap, since theyre so fat (I think 2 gauge).

I found a spot just behind/to the left of my air intake on top of the passenger side wheel well and ran the wires along the side of the air intake and in behind the passenger headlight to the winch.

That bumper looks sweet by the way. I have the 4xinnovations rear bumper and its so well built. I have a lot more confidence in it than my ARB front bumper.

BrandonF, thanks for your reply, was trying to avoid extending the wires and for now just mounted it above the fairlead plate, quite a project but getting better at putting the bumper on and off, this is the third time I have gone through the process of mounting it from getting it as raw steel, used my snowmobile lift which is a huge bonus for navigating it into place, however I will likely leave the control box mounted where it is for the summer and maybe rework it over the winter.
I have the 4xinnovations rear bumper with a swing away tire carrier also, must say their fabrication is spot on, really nice product, did not have any issues fitting anything. The only down side is they do not let you know about the control box (of course I did not ask either) had I of known about the mounting location I could have saved myself a lot of headaches.
