Exclamation I need Help!! 98' 4Runner.

I have a 98 Toyota 4 runner,

When i got the 4runner it started every time.

then one day out of the blue it just started to make a "click noise".

I thought it was the starter so i got a new one and it started the first time after we installed the new starter.

After that it just made the same noise. one "Click". I then thought it was the starter relay so i by passed it by going from the battery to the starter directly and it starts like that every time.

I got a new relay today and put it in and it it still wont start.

Some one please help me. I don't know what else to try.

What shape are your battery terminals and clamps in? Are they clean, free of corrosion and tight?

What shape are your battery cables in?

Is your battery ground making proper contact?

second the above post with terminal contact. Your battery seems to have power if you can bypass and start it so we know that is fine. Do you interior lights and radio work when your key is in the second position? Check the fuse box for anything that could have tripped.
