Dig it! Post some pics of the undercarriage when you get a chance. Will give us a better idea of what you're working with.

They go in without the adapter plate, but only 2 screws will fasten, rest dont line up. Sealed the rest with putty caulk, good to go.
And I will post undercarriage shots soon. Only 1 problem area.

Idea...
So I kinda want to do an interesting project on my 4runner. I was thinking of removing one half of the second row seats (So it would seat 3) and building a small table to fill the gap. It would have cup holders, and maybe raised edges to stop things from sliding around. Is it possible to remove the seat backs? Or only the bottom cushions?
Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Awesome, I will probably post a mock up of what i want it to look like when i get a chance. I rarely seat 4, and it would be cool giving the truck a little bit of a camper van feel while also gaining cargo space (Under the table).
And wow, lots of VT people here!

Good news! Wheels are in!
They look fantastic in person, cant wait to get em mounted! I think im gonna go with these decals over the center caps: TRD Black 52 mm Sticker Resin Decals Center Hub Caps Cover Wheel Rim Logo Toyota | eBay
Cheap and simple. I would buy the actual trd center caps that fit these, but at about 4x the cost and the same look, im not too concerned. Sorry about not having any pictures of anything mounted on the car...I will get on that soon lol

I wouldn't do the half table thing just because it's only accessible to the 3rd person in the car. The cup holders would never get used by you in the front, and there's already two cup holders on the back of your center console. What a lot of people do is make a rear cargo drawer of some sort if you're worried about storing tools or something of that sort. If you rarely have anyone in your back seats (like me), you can remove the bottom bench portion of your rear seats, giving you about 6 more inches of rear cargo space from the tailgate to the back of the front seats.

I see where youre coming from, but will still take a look and consider it. This is probably a more challenging one, but is there any way to install captains chairs in the rear? I guess with custom brackets it wouldnt be too hard?
