Rear Bumper Tire Swing Out
Hello there.
Anyone have any idea if the stock rear bumper is strong enough to mount or weld a tire swing out right to it? Thanks for any help.

Bumper itself, no. But the trailer hitch, yes.

At that point you may as well just make a complete swing out bumper on your own.

3/16" for structural parts, 1/8" for non structural parts. Some people will say 3/16" on all of it.

So structural would be mounting points and where I want to mount the swing out? Anywhere else?

Yes and everywhere in between.
I'm not gonna tell you step by step how to make the bumper, there are lots of places to see how people have done it. Give google a whirl.

I don't mean to be rude, but if you have these questions, maybe it'd be safer/better to order one premade? Or maybe find a weld together kit if you're dead set on welding it yourself?

I love how everyone is an expert and assumes that by asking questions you have no clue.

If someone asks how to tie their shoes I generally assume they don't know how to tie their shoes.
If I were in your shoes I'd be looking to build the bumper using a trailer hitch like 4xInnovations does since you have a trailer that you tow pretty often. That's one thing I don't like about my CBI- no one can tell me how much weight I can tow safely.

Your going to fabricate a bumper and had to ask what is the structural mounting locations?

Sounds like you might be a good candidate for a tiregate hitchgate
