99 fuel gauge *FIXED*

I'll be as short as I can... not sure if he is a member here but there is a guy on YouTube "phorunner". I've tried it all. And this finally worked for me.

That's awesome this worked for him, don't use those vampire clips though!.

There is a TSB EL010-00 for this very problem on Oct 98 to early 2000 4Runner, they came off the line with faulty parts, should have been a recall as it is a safety issue!, some had to replace the sending unit and inclinometer chip in the dash which deletes your current Odometer unless you fill out the request provided in the TSB or you take it to a electronic specialist familiar with this Toyota & Lexus TSB/problem, the dealer isn't equipped to transfer the Odo data to the new chip and will have you sign off on the Odo Change and likely won't tell you till after the TSB is performed that you had this option when ordering the new circuit board/inclinometer..
