Guess TRD still doing one last run of superchargers??
2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro Supercharged Review - First Test - Motor Trend
Nice truck but man for the price its really not much of an upgrade from the last generation. But they still keep selling I bet.

I still think these TRD Pro Tacos are hot... I wish I had graduated this last spring! If I had no doubt I would have one in my driveway.

$47,000! For a 10 year old design with a blower and Bilsteins slapped on. On the bright side, it makes more power and torque than its successor.

For that price you can pick up a 2005 model and slap a LS swap and call it a day.

I think these TRD Pro trucks are pretty cool, just not what I would be willing to spend on bolt-ons. The past three generations of Tacomas have had pretty piss poor frames too. If they aren't rusted, then they are too weak. They gave up on fully boxed frames after 95.

Or just pick up a red 05' and source all those TRD goodies and have a budget TRD Pro for way less with identical performance figures.

In CO zero rust, the Tacomas out here are clean and the are very rigid for offroad. IMO nothing else those years can keep up thats in the truck department.

That's true.
Though the Nissan Frontier has a boxed frame and slightly more N/A power and torque than the 1GR. More torque than this new 3.5 as well. Haven't heard of any bad things about Nissan's 6-speed manual either. Nismo has superchargers and all that good stuff too..
