stock suspension replacement

I know most will say get it lifted and I plan to in the future, but I can't afford to right now. What are some good alternatives to replace my 97 Limited's front struts ? MOOG , Monroe , factory OEM ? Thanks

I just installed KYB with OEM coils. Solid middle of the road choice.

If you can afford the Bilstein 5100s I would go ahead and get them. One less part to purchase later for lifting. Plus, they ride like a dream.

Can the Bilstein 5100s be used as a stock replacement? I thought they were only for lifted suspensions.

I'm about to pull my rear components off. OME 891's and Bilstien 5100's, they are settled out to be just above stock height, if you are interested in them. PM me if you are.

They can be, but you wanna get the right travel length for your application.

When my 02 was stock i replaced the shocks with the Bilstein 4600, made a big difference, great ride, and handeling.
