2000 4Runner Clutch

So I replaced the MC and Slave about a month ago on my 4Runner. The clutch pedal was sucking to the floor and I had to pull it out by hand. After replacing both the MC and Slave the problem went away. But low and behold yesterday it started doing the same thing. Does anyone have suggestions or ideas on how to fix this?

It's probably the clutch pedal bushing:

Is the fluid leaking somewhere? When you bleed the system again, is it still sticking to the bottom position?

I realize this thread was posted a year ago, so I am just wanting to ask the OP what solution he implemented.

I had the same symptoms last week, which I resolved by replacing the double-coil torsion spring with a suitable clutch pedal return spring, but I'm not completely happy with the results (as the spring I used touches the P-bushing mounting tab when the pedal is depressed).

So I'm searching for anyone who has found a suitable spring that does NOT touch at the one or two points that most other springs seems to touch.

If the OP is still around, it would be great to know what solution worked for him, so that we all benefit from his experience.
