Leaking transmission fill line?

My 4runner seems to be leaking from the hose that the transmission fluid dipstick comes out of, the one going to the transmission pan. Is this common? Would I have to replace the whole pan? Because the hose seems to be welded on to the pan.

On my '01 Limited, the dipstick tube is in two pieces. If you unbolt the hanger near the top of the dipstick, you should be able to separate the top 1' or so of the tube by twisting and pulling.

IIRC, the bolt is 12mm.

I was wondering if there is an O-ring in this joint. Anyone know for sure?

So you're leaking at the pan? I'm pretty sure that is not a replaceable part, and you'd have to get the entire pan.

There's an o-ring there (90301-09011), but that's not the location he's talking about.

I think you might be right, ATF leaks down that hose, and drips off when it is almost at the pan. The pan gasket doesn't leak, so this might be my solution. I will have to check if its leaking there, cause last time I looked that connection between the two tubes it was dry. Thanks for your help.
