Tundra brake caliper leaked brake fluid all over pads, replace or clean pads?

Just wanted to let people know who did the 231mm Tundra brake upgrade that my front passenger side started leaking brake fluid after a little over 2 years and 12k miles. I first noticed it after the truck started pulling to the left really hard during hard braking. I also noticed my brake fluid reservoir was low. Here's a pic:

I used the Napa Eclipse brand Part Number: SE3264. I called Napa and they are getting me a new one tomorrow to swap out. If it ends up leaking again I will probably just buy an OEM one.

Anyways, the OEM brake pads were soaked in brake fluid. Should I even bother trying to clean them with brake cleaner or just buy new ones? A quick google search shows people have cleaned them with break cleaner with good results.

Pads are trashed. It looks like it's leaking from the casting marks?

Looks like from one of the rubber seals around one of the pistons that push on the brake pads. I sprayed the pads with brake cleaner and cleaned them up with paper towels, they are looking good.

Brake fluid is corrosive and more than likely will damage the bond between the pad material and metal backing. Pads are cheap. Buy new ones.

You can try them after cleaning but don't get your hopes up. Be prepared to buy new pads and maybe rotors.

Yeah looks like I'm going to get new pads, would rather be safe than sorry. The rotors cleaned up like new so I'm not concerned about them.

Anyone have pad recommendations or should I just go with OEM again? sucks I'll have to do both sides now so they wear evenly.

If I had to do mine over again it would be OEM. I will have to say I have had good luck with generic Ceramic NAPA Proformer pads in different applications.

Wagner Thermo Quiet Ceramic OE21 Shimless pads - very quiet. Solid braking. Been real happy with them.
