Man you guys are making my career seem so easy! Or is it just that you're fortunate enough to be working solely on Toyota 4Runners? Either way my phone has jingled not but never so nobody must have died yet. Shoot me a holler if you get into trouble.... 10 year veteran in auto repair. Good luck gentlemen.

Sounds like a plan!
Ill be picking up rotors, calipers, and brake pads at napa while they stoll got their 20% off deal. In case no one knows; if you buy a reusable bag for .99 you can get 20% off as long as theree a 3 item minimum.

I know this is hard to believe, but some people (....ahem...me) choose to not have social media besides a cheesy 4Runner forum... Care to keep us recluses in the loop?

Hey Bro,
@ infamousRNR
(aka Sean) and I are ready for our next project. We helped
@ sunsetrunner
with his LCA bushing replacement last Sunday and it was a success. The video will be coming out soon.
Let us know when you're ready for TBU.

Rear Brake Job
Hey NorCal 3rd Gen Crew,
Is there anyone out there in need of a rear wheel brake job? If so,
@ infamousRNR
and I are willing to help you out so we can video the repair to share with the masses.
Let us know,
Timmy!

Hey Jay,
Here's some research on rear brake parts from Camelback Toyota:
Here's a link to OEM Rear Shoes - Set of 4:( I have read OEM is the way to go and aftermarket is not so good)
https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/pa...omponent=SHOES
Here's a link to OEM Rear Drums: (But, I have found a machine shop near my house that will turn the drums for $20 each. If your drums haven't been turned before or maybe just once, there will be enough meat on them to resurface and you can save some money. You could go aftermarket if the drums are bad but I think OEM would probably be better to stick with.)
https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/pa...component=DRUM
Here's a link to Wheel Cylinders: (Probably not 100% necessary to replace unless they are leaking but maybe not a bad idea if you have a lot of miles on your rig. The link is for trucks with 16" wheels)
https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/pa...&siteid=214329
I spoke with a guy at Camelback who's actually been a mechanic for 40 years about whether or not to replace the spring hardware for the rear brakes. He said unless things are rusted out, like can happen in some parts of the country due to the road salts, he wouldn't bother replacing the springs.
Hope this info helps you out.
