I've searched the forum for an answer but didn't quite find out what I needed. Sorry I know this has been asked before!
I have a 1999 limited and just realized in the last couple months as the temp dropped and days got short that the backlight on the AC "mode" is out. What a PITA. Photo included.
I'd like to employ my local handyman (husband who can do wonders with a powerdrill) to help me replace it. Are there any instructions/videos/manual or anything anywhere indicating what is needed to get at this light? Does the whole panel need to be removed? If so, where are the tabs to pry it off?
I'm not sure if any other lights are out, doesn't seem to be.
I'd love to replace this awful radio too. I'm pressing buttons while I drive and turning it off...on...changing bands.
I notice the backlight for the clock goes out too. That I can fix by smacking it. Wish other things were fixed so easily. Lol.
I don't feel like paying a small fortune to the nice folks at the auto repair place for one light. How difficult is it to do at home?
Many thanks!
