The passenger front corner meaning wheel/suspension area has been knocking like a mad man recently! I mean knocking! So here's what I've checked so far - Upper b joint is good, lower b joints I replaced, wheel bearing good - you can try and shake wheel while truck is parked until you're worn out and it won't knock or move. Up on the rack when you grab the wheel and try and move it back and forth there is NO movement. Upper and lower shock mounts look good - they're OMEs with 2" lift springs. Control arm mounts/bushings see good - no weird movement with a pry bar on ground or on rack in the air. Axles are brand new - thought it might be an axle but regardless of axle it STILL knocks.
Now - it knocks on the road loudest in the morning when it is cold - I know it sounds weird but that's the truth. It knocks most on pavement when hitting rough road, wash board, bumps. The knock is like a "revolving" knocking sound. Literally like a shot put ball in a wood box being rolled! The knock seems to "vanish" somewhat at speed but the tire noise may just make it seem like it's vanished. The ONE bit of evidence I've found is the passenger front shock seems to be rubbing the spring a bit between the plastic shock sleeve and coil whereas the other side's shock is centered within coil. Kinda weird. I did remove the stock and spring and checked out mount but it seems tight.
So there it is- any help would be MUCH appreciated!

Sounds like inner tie rod or steering rack. This may be a temporary fix
