Probably not. I do like the classic look of the ARB though. I got a screaming deal on my bumper so I couldn't pass it up. I think there is some to be desired with the approach angle and strength, but for the money it's hard to beat.

Went ahead and installed a Revtek spacer lift on the 5th gen. This truck doesn't see the dirt much honestly, so I was just looking for a purely aesthetic lift. Not a great long term solution, but I will probably trade this in on a new Tacoma or 200 series sometime in the near future. So I got the look I wanted, and the ride is still cushy.

Taking your tools and the old parts out of the back lifted the rear up quite a bit.

I wonder how low it'll sit with your beasts back there.

Finally got around to having my Stubbs HKO Sliders installed. I had them powder coated to match the finish of my ARB. I plan on having the CBI powder coated to match more soon as well. They came out looking great. Wasn't until they were welded on that I noticed the bottom of the flare on the door catches the top of the slider. I think if I grind the flare down a bit it will clear, but either way I'll probably install a 1/2" body lift.

About time you got some sliders on there! How do you like that CVT awning? I've been debating getting one to attach to my WMW rack.

Any wind noise from the cover flapping?

How's set up and tear down?

I've decided our rigs are twins. But a special kind of twins.

The CVT awning works fine. I don't really notice any noise, but i also have my tent up there so that's making noise of its own. Setup and tear down is simple, takes 30 seconds.

Received a 1/2" Fat Pat's body lift in the mail today, to give me a little more room between the body and my sliders, and I also got in on the current RCI group buy and ordered a set of aluminum skids. Should be here in 2-3 weeks. Then I'm probably done for a while, but I'll be ready to use the hell out of this thing this summer!
