Winches under factory bumpers?

Hey all,
Since I must often wheel alone I don't go nuts as this is my daily driver but I would like to have a small winch as peace of mind. Was wondering if there were any suggestions or examples of a winch mounted beneath factory bumper? Seems to me you could mount a plate and cut out the plastic under lip and mount a small winch there for tough spots or pulling others out of snow banks, etc... Thoughts??

There has been a couple threads on this topic including a pretty detailed walkthrough. You're new so I have a friendly word of advice: use the search function before posting a new thread as most topics have been gone over thoroughly. Moving on...
This is the most detailed thread I could find
Winch with Stock Bumper!

We went with one in a portable cradle because 2 daily driving 4Runners and 3 receiver hitches means options appreciated.

I did search. I actually stalked this forum for months before I bought by baby. For this topic search I found a bunch of threads with the word 'Winch" in them, and 'Bumper" but not that one. Thanks.

I'm new to this site, and to owning a 2001 4runner. I'm VERY interested in this hidden mount! Is there a link directly, to the build, or to a part number for it? I checked on Hidden winch website, and they don't offer anything for a Gen 3. Thank you!
