OEM Denso Relay for Acc. Wiring
I just wanted to share my knowledge with y'all. I figured out the wiring for the small black relays found in our trucks. These are $2.75 at my junkyard each and are a lot cheaper than buying $10 Bosch relays.
They can handle at least 20 Amps- that's the most they are used in the factory fuse/relay box.
Here are some pictures of mine wired up: Chuckles' 98 Manual SR5 4Runner
I'll let the pictures tell the rest. I know my diagram isn't the most professional, but it will get the job done.

You are really reinventing the wheel. The Denso Relays are just the ISO Micro version of the standard Bosch relay, about which there are lots of really good sites. It's just a slightly different pin format but all the principles are the same. Two coil pins, two normally open contact pins. A fifth normally closed contact pin can be added.
Here is the standard Bosch terminal labelling on the Micro ISO format:
Now you can use all the wiring diagrams on:
Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT), Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) Automotive Relays
Basic Car Audio Electronics
It is better to understand how all this works in the language and format that everyone in the field uses than to start something new and you won't get lost the first time you see a full size Bosch relay.

My only experience with Bosch style relays is with a larger one. I didn't know there was a Micro ISO one. Thanks for the info; I'll look into them some more.
I just wanted to let everyone know that they could use these cheap and readily available high quality Japanese relays instead of crappy Chinese ones or buying a $10 genuine Bosch.

Well, to increase your junkyard joy, here is a list of 126 make/model cars of many years that use this relay:
NAPA AUTO PARTS
[not sure the link will work like I hope it will...]
I would be reluctant to use a 15-year old relay from any high cycle duty usage as a replacement in any mission critical application such as fuel pump or EFI. Use a new Toyota or Echlin from NAPA. Or, if you are really cheap, use one of your other existing relays from lighting or HVAC and swap the JY relay there.
