ToyTec Rear Long Travel LCAs

I have been wanting some strong rear lower control arms with Johny Joints.
Toytec now has them and so do I.
HD Long Travel Steel Lower Control Arms for 96-02 4Runner
I just did the install today so I can't give you any on road or offroad information yet. They even work with my Lotus LCA skids without modification.

I'm guessing that they are considered long travel since the Johnny Joints allow the freedom of the axle to droop fully unlike the stock rubber bushings.

Did you measure droop before the new ones were install?
I got stock gas tank skid and already hitting the heck out of it. Need to take a BFH to it some more.

The limiting factor will be the shock length.
More than the "long travel" I need to get the rear to flex freely and not bind with the stock rubber bushings. I still need to deal with the upper rubbers.
Also my lower bushings were shot.

If you have installed rear springs without loosening the control arm bolts, you know how much the rubber bushings fight the droop.

Yeah I know shock is the limiting factor was just wondering if the stock bushing were holding it back any. I loosen the lca when I installed my lift, but I can see how the stock bushing can bind up.
Isnt there a guy on this board selling rear uppers and lowers?

The stock skidplate does stick out more than it should by the driveshaft.
Running a panhard bar drop helps keep the driveshaft out of the skid.
(Shameless plug) my replacement skid is tucked tight to the tank and eliminates the interference.

Not trying to knock the product, but there's nothing special about them that make them long travel. The Johnny Joints on those have a 30 degree range of motion which is better than stock.

For $400 you could have got some with more range of motion than 30 degree's.
