Toyota yellow CV grease

My inner CV boots sprayed out some grease after I jacked up the front and let it droop. It leaked quite a lot of grease. I have the mcmaster clamps as a quick fix and want to inject some more grease in to the boot but not sure which kind of grease to use because i don't want to mix something different with what's left inside.

I know toyota uses "yellow" joint grease for the inner boot and "black" grease for the outer. You know the 2 different packets that come with an OEM boot kit. So what formulation is the "yellow" grease? Can I inject Moly-Graph in to the inboard boot?

I wouldn't worry and just put grease in.

The issue with mixing greases is "Is the base soap the same?"
Most common base is Lithium. Stalube had a grease for disc brake wheel bearings that was Aluminum base. I once mixed the two types as an experiment, and fairly quickly, the mixture caked up and was very un-grease-like.
So, the question is: Is the Toyota grease Lithium base? If it is, you can probably mix any other Lithium base grease into it without issue.
But: How to find out? I haven't a clue.
The safest thing is to remove the old, mystery grease and put all new stuff in, but that's not going to happen here.
I'd ask an experienced tech at a successful shop that is familiar with Toyota trucks and Land Cruisers what they'd use.

Looking at it closer it's really loose so probably sucked in water and stuff so i'll try pulling back the large end of the boot and clean it out with brake cleaner and pack it with fresh grease and reclamp. I don't have a 35mm socket to take it out and it looks like a hassle to reboot it properly, I'll probably just buy new axles when i have time, these have 200+ k already.

From what I researched the outer is a friction joint and probably uses moly grease, but the inside is a non-friction joint and probably uses regular lithium high pressure grease. I'm not going to put a huge number of miles on it before I get around to rebooting properly or replacing so not a big deal really.

People had a debate with what grease to use in the drive shafts. And some used one grease for all zerks and thousands of miles it's still good. I really wouldnt think about this. Just throw a good brand grease in it and call it a day.
