Hey, would you be interested in joining my FB Installers Group? I definitely can use the perspectives of guys who have experience in there (it's a resource for the new DIY guys, primarily)

Bumper looks wicked too - did you install the wing braces? I see some heat marks on yours so I'm thinking you did. They weren't a thing when my bumper got built, but I wonder if I should go through the hassle of putting them in.

Super down!! I miss you guys! Let's plan a trip, you can bring down one of those fancy new bumpers and we can install it then go bang it on rocks haha!
I did put them in. I did not however put the swingout braces in. They were designed for the BL version and I don't plan to run a swing out. So I skipped them. I did trim the wing braces a bit to make install easier as they like to get hung up on the rear body mounts as the bumper pivots into place.

Totally down. I will admit I'm on here more than FB but I can do that. Can you send me an invite?

Oh man that would be deadly. With my new baby incoming any day now I can't promise it will be in the spring. But September might be workable. We'll chat! Damn I wish I could meet you at the Hammers too...
Ok thanks for the notes on the bumper as well.

They've got a curved notch in them as a trim line - just cut up to that notch and then they fit the NBL setup.

I definitely want pictures of that - so I can modify the future production parts accordingly, and advise the guys that are doing installs at the moment!

O rad! Another thing you built-in that I skipped over for sure ahah!

I'll grab photos! I was also installing it solo with help from a forklift so I am sure with two people it would be easier but nonetheless, it made it easier trimmed.

Cam Tabs and Limit Straps
Put a little work in on the truck over the weekend.
On today's episode of installing parts I have had laying around for months.
Total Chaos Cam Tabs which I had on the back burner until I needed them. Folded over two tabs in Moab after smashing a beauty of a hole at 40mph. My racing instinct kicked in and I took the APEX in the dark a little hot.

Regardless, here is the fix!

Cam tabs suck to install so be prepared on that one. Not hard, just annoying the entire time.

I also installed limit straps on the front. These are 8" straps and work really well with the Eimkieth kit.

Limit straps are cake, Cam Tabs are not. I highly recommend an air hammer for knocking these suckers off.

I would definitely be down! I already have your Rear LCA kit, and will be getting your panhard correction kit once I finally get lifted.
I am also looking at those Shock Tower Plates. They seem pretty easy to install.
My buddy Bobby has a 5th gen that needs your Rear Panhard Correction Kit, we can certainly document that installation for you!

How’d the 4Runner do with the new front locker addition?! Any input on how the new tire setup does in the snow? Looks deep! That’s Toyota power pulling the Burban out

The truck cracks me up now, it looks so sleeper and just absolutely eats dude. Only got stuck once and that was trying to pull someone out and everyone else got stuck probably 3-4 times. The front locker is sooooo fun in the snow, thing is almost a snowcat at this point. (I want tracks for it bad).

Nice bumper swap. So are you just planning on keeping the spare in the cargo area?
I like the fresh wheels and tires too. They look like they did alright in the snow. Are you running spacers for the wheels or are you just running the wheel by itself?

Yea, if I'm going with buddies I just don't bring a spare as most everyone runs 35's. But other times I put it in the back yea.
They rocked in the snow, super pumped on the Kenda's so far. I am not running spacers no, just the wheels.

Now that you've had some time with the new tires, do you think stock gears with these skinny 35's is manageable or do you wish you would have gone a size down? Asking from a power/performance/crawling perspective.
