A/C adjusting nut - where to buy

Lost my patience with a VERY rusty AC adjusting nut and thought using an impact gun would help. Not so much.

It helped in swedging the bolt into that engineered nut. I will try to strap it to a drill press and drill it out, but I would prefer to replace it.

I cannot seem to find any source for that machined adjusting bolt. Although I will keep looking. Its a resto , so time isnt a factor; i can wait for a slow boat from Japan if need be! Engine wont be in and ready to fire until spring.

Any ideas ? TIA!

Cool

HI BUFFALO. I BELIEVE YOU'RE AFTER PN: 90119-08493. THAT IS THE MACHINED BOLT. THE SLIDER IS PN: 16385-62020. THESE PART NUMBERS ARE FROM MY '97 3.4L 4X4 AT EDIT; I RAN THEM THROUGH MY PROGRAM AT THE PARTS DESK, THEY ARE AVAILABLE OVERNIGHT (AT LEAST HERE IN THE SOUTHEAST) JUST OVER $10 FOR THE PAIR.

as " half orthodox" , half of me doesnt celebrate Xmas until Jan7: I CONSIDER THAT AN EARLY XMAS PRESENT NOLAN ! from a complete stranger even - PERFECT!

You know WHO loves you baby!

THNX!

PS the images arent quite identical and the part and s called a "fan belt slider". the stuck slider I have is for the A/C compressor. Anyway, for like $8 total I picked them up from TPD.com, + a few other oem bits.

Anytime, Buffalo. I work a parts counter at a dealership, always more than happy to help. The e-locker is awesome! They can be had for cheap if you can do the fab work to get her onto a non-e-locker rig!!
