Auto Transmission filter bolt part number

I have a Toyota auto trans filter I'm going to install & would like to get new bolts. My understanding is that there are 4 bolts for the trans filter but when I contacted a few Toyota parts dealers, they all said they were only showing 3 bolts for the filter. The part numbers I was told that were needed for the trans filter were:
90105A0090 (2 bolts) & 9008010162 (1 bolt)

Looking at the parts diagram, it seems to only show these 3 bolts but my trans filter definitely has 4 bolt holes. Anyone able to confirm the bolt part numbers & how many are needed?

I reused my bolts, no issues at all. I torqued to specs as well. You can ask them to fax you the screen that they are looking at, they should be happy to do so. Then you can call them back and tell them what you want.

Camel back toyota and another local toyota dealer emailed me the diagram and it was showing 3 bolts. It was the same diagram they pulled up when i ordered my filter using my vin #. I dont mind reusing my current filter bolts but thought i'd replace them with new ones while i had it apart.

The filter is different between 2wd and 4wd. The 4wd model has 4 bolts. You can see the filter / bolts starting at post 97.

My 4gunner restore, refurb and re-work

There is ZERO need to replace these low torque spec bolts as they just hold the strainer in place... well, unless you snap one off by not torquing properly

I agree as well that they will be fine.

I just reused my 35 year old crankshaft main bearing bolts and rod end bearing bolts in my boat motor. Quite confident they will be fine.

ATF can act as penetrating oil, so I doubt you will have to replace, if you are in doubt, just use a torque wrench when you put it back on.

of course its your car do what makes you sleep better at night.
