Addicted Plate Front Bumper-Warn 9.5ti won't fit?!?

So I got my addicted plate bumper installed a month or so ago. First off- Love it, looks awesome, solidly built, pretty painless install. Scotty you put out a great setup, I'm a happy customer.
Scored a barely used and in good shape warn 9.5ti. But I didn't even consider that it wouldn't fit The motor sticks out about an inch too far to clear the passenger side plated section of bumper. Can't fault Addicted, I should've measured and researched first. I'm just surprised it is too big-9,500lbs doesn't seem unreasonably big for a 4runner to me? I get that 8,000 is kinda "standard" for most with 3rd gens, but it not like I'm trying to shove a 12k winch in there. New to winch stuff outside of using them to yank a drag race car onto trailer, but thats a whole different mounting/clearance situation.
Am I missing something, or do I need to work on trading for a smaller winch?

A lot of time you need to cut a notch in the grill so the winch can slide back a bit and fit. If it's the control box it can be moved and remounted.

Not uncommon at all. I don't have any experience with Addicted bumpers, but have had to notch numerous other Jeep bumpers for certain winches to fit. Especially Warn winches with the integrated solenoid. Break out the grinder with the cutoff wheel and notch it a bit.

Couldn't make it would with reasonable effort. Would've taken a lot of meat out of plate section, more than I was comfortable with structurally. Went with an M8000 which juuust fits.
FYI to anyone else-the addicted bumper has about 6 1/4-6 1/2" side clearance from winch mount bolt hole to the inner edge of the plate section. So most of warns high end stuff won't clear. M8000 fits but there's only about 1/2 an inch left of either side.
Forgot to take pictures before it got dark. Thanks for the responses everybody.

I am looking for a control box mount or slimmer control box so I can move it. Have you found a product you like?
