Rear axle seal/bearing replacement

At 293,000 mile my rear alxe seal finally started leaking. My question is:

Will I be able to do the job and remove axle inside a 10x20 foot garage? If I can get the side of the rig as close to one wall as possible, will I have enough room on the other to fully pull out the axle shaft? Thanks for your replies.

Yea that should be enough space. You'll just have to do one side then move it and do the other.

Did some calculations:
Width : 66.5 inches
Approx axle length : 1/2 of 66.5 inches or 34 inches
Minimum feet needed to pull out axle : 67 +34 = 101 inches or 8.42 feet or 8.5 feet.

Seems like a 10 foot wide garage would just be wide enough to do axle seal and bearing replacement.
