---I will buy your old lower ball joints---

Still looking for as many as I can get for my uniball conversion. I am just starting to produce them but the more cores I can get ahold of now the more I can offer at a time. So if you have an old set lying around they fit in a flat rate box from the post office which is $13.45 and when I receive them I will refund you $25. THIS IS FOR A SET. Please don't send one, then the other as I will not pay for them twice. As long as the condition of the forged piece, the part that the 4 bolts goes through, is ok then they are useable. The ball and socket condition is irrelevant as I core them away. Please DM me for the shipping address. Thanks guys for any support!

I took Z up on this offer and everything went good. if you have old LBJs laying around, this is a great way to get rid of them, help out someone who is making new parts for these trucks, and put a little bit of money back into your parts fund.

I have tested many different brands, well not too sure on the brand because once I receive them I cant tell who made them. The first set that I did was OEM and cut and welded very nicely. The next 2 sets I knew were aftermarket but to my surprise the cut and welded exactly the same. There might be slight differences in the materials as far as quality but not enough to make any difference. The set on my 4runner is an aftermarket brand and I trust it 100%

This seems like as good a place as any to ask.

How often should they be replaced? I have a 2002 with 161k miles and mine were replaced by Toyota at 70k miles.

There is probably 100 threads about lower ball joints and how to check and signs of wear. I would start there, as this thread isnt really about that. Try the search bar, best of luck.
