After my lift I had 1.6* of caster, since adding bumper and winch the truck has settled a little and I haven't adjusted the coilovers back up. Last time I got an alignment I was almost at the lower stock limit of 2.3* I think, I can go look and verify.

I didn't really think of asking till it was already done (and a buddy texted me to remind me about castor). I got a 1 year unlimited alignment at BigO for the price of a single so ill go back in a month or two.

Sooo, now that the rig is mechanically solid it's time to start planning out the cargo area. No sleep quarters, just some storage, a battery, a solar regulator, a fridge, switch panel for the numerous odds and ends going in.

Have been dealing with brake nonsense. After much research including every wacky way known to mankind to bleed brakes including using a SnapOn computer to cycle ABS to parking at steep inclines to bleed it's finally fixed. The culprit was the booster after all. How we found it was engine running too lean. My mechanic and I found that the manifold was able to keep sucking fresh air in through the booster. Found a used one for $75.
Old POS
Since the wife will be sharing this vehicle she has her list of requirements. Easy Bake oven waiting for install. It will be on slides.
In a few weeks we are purchasing an OZTent RV-5 with rainfly and a CFX-40 fridge and slide. Then I have to build out the back.

A start to a foundation to build on. 8ga common ran from back to firewall. Indoor/outdoor carpet sold by the yard at Home Depot, glued down to 1/2" ply base. Base will be bolted to floor via tie down spots.
More to come....

Drove up to Sierra Expeditions to spend some $$$. Those guys are super knowledgeable, tell you the ins and outs. We ordered up an OZTent RV-4 and got a tour of a demo model and some first hand knowledge of them. They just got a long term customer.

Couple more steps complete. Box needs lid, mechanicals and electronics.

Bubba's Build and Adventures.
Did a little more work. Box is done and secured. Playing with house battery placement. I'm thinking it will end up behind fridge. I figure keep the weight over the axle and it won't be as wonky on the roads and trails. Blue Sea 6fuse box will go on the panel inside storage box. Have to order a 4 gang rocker panel for front of box, wire and SI-ACR.

Just a simple cookie cutter mod. Got some eagle eyes from Amazon. Still have 6 more hmmm . Not sure I care for it wired to the rear light. Think in future it will go to its own switch on control panel.

Phase 2 of rear storage has begun. And I finally found a spot i'm happy with for OBA.
I will be covering the plastic and wood areas around the compressor with aluminum to dissipate heat. Upgraded wire was previously run so i'm g2g.
These 3 carpeted pieces are the uprights and home of a future drawer once i find a 32" slide in happy with (price & quality). The top pice will be flat and cover the wheel well. And of course will be carpeted. I'm also making it removable for future mods :-). The drawer will house all the dry goods, food prep and service stuff. Ther will also be a slide u see the drawer for a 24" work surface ( wife's request).

Bubba's Build and Adventures.
Second Audit of gear and I forgot TP and a cutting board. I'm really looking forward to a roof rack soon.
This has been a journey for us as we near the time we can drive off into the wild for extended times looking for adventure. Checklists on top of check lists, budgets and cost estimates over and over. Can't wait to get out there! Here comes Overland Expo West 2017 and on to open road.
It's NOT about the destination, it's how YOU get there.
Day 1

OK, moved this where it should have been. For some reason I posted it some spark plug thread...
Changed out all fluids and crush washers on front and rear diffs and the TC. Was pretty dark, but not much on the magnets. Also installed a phone holder I got for $9.00
Ordered stuff to extend diff breather.
