Missing sleeve in LCA

I posted a couple days ago about getting my truck aligned by a shop. They could not get the caster right. The truck is pulling bad to the right.. They couldn't even get it to adjust AT ALL!! However today I saw my bucket with all the tools I used for the job to replace my LCA's and found a sleeve that I believe goes with the LCA. Would this part be the reason the shop couldn't get it right? Please tell me yes.....

Of whatever you found and have a concern about. The LCA sleeve can't just come out on its own without having the bolt missing completely.

Then yeah, that's the reason. Not really sure how you're even able to drive it honestly. The one bushing is basically floating since there is nothing there but open space.

There are two sleeves. An outer and inner. Bolt goes through the inner sleeve. If this is missing there will be lots of play. Either way the alignment should have semi worked just like when having bad bushings. You need to fix this then find a good alignment local shop. Not an auto repair chain.

Call a known local offroad shop. Ask them about an alignment shop they use.

Here is a way to start. This website tells you who has top line Hunter alignment equipment in your area. Rule out the dealers and chains and then Yelp/Google the rest. Hopefully somebody with a modded vehicle will be on there.

GSP9700 Locator

The site is really for the GSP9700 RoadForce balancers, but it does both. I'd prefer a shop that HAD both, as you know they are serious.

Gotcha. It's amazing that you were able to drive it. Finding a good alignment shop is sometimes difficult. Good luck

Every shop I've been to has that machine. To me it's about the tech. A machine doesn't fix the car it's the clown working it
