Don't even need a steering wheel puller, just a 7/8's (22mm) socket (I used my lug not 4 way) then put a hand at 3 and 9 and wiggle till it comes off, a shot of PB may expidite the process. To get the airbag off you need either a T25 or T30 torxs bit ,pop off the two little round covers behing the wheel but on the wheel body at 3 and 9 and back out the airbag screws. The screws are captive so they will not come all the way out. Then wiggle the airbag free. I like to have the battery disconnected and all power drained before I pull and airbag but YMMV. Disconnect the airbag from the Clocks spring and then pull the column covers, a couple of JIS screws, (3?) then the clock spring pulls off with four more JIS screws. The turn signal stalk and wiper stalk are attached to the clock spring.
What turns your signals off is a little spring loaded rocker arm that catches on the clock spring as it turns. Pushing the sigal arm up or down juts it out and then the rotation has a peak that catches it and returns it. Hard to explain but easy to understand when it's in front of you.
I recently replaced my clock spring with one that had the OE fog light switch on the light stalk.
