Found a 4runner!! yey!!
Alright, spent a few months and found a 99 4runner SR5 with 200K miles, A/T, 4x4, Rear DIFF LOCK for an amazing price.
Can anyone here do a VIN check for me please?
JT3HN86R4X0257623
This will be my 2nd 4runner.
Thanks

Thank you for the information.
"11/16/2015 225,120 Auto Auction
Texas Vehicle sold at auction
Listed as a dealer vehicle"
Problem: Last sold at 225120 (assuming this is miles) and the seller texted me it has 200000 miles. Another odometer fraud?

Unless he's understating the mileage. Ask him the exact mileage. It looks like it could have been a one owner until it was traded in & auctioned off.

They may be trying to downplay the miles. Still take a look at it, if it shows less than 225k you walk away.

Some people just downplay because really what's 25k when you're over 200k. I looked at one that said 200k but it has 229k

I found 2 potential 4runners, one is 98 with 228K, 2WD and the other is above, 4WD, 99 Diff lock and just $800 more. I am getting the 99 (above) with TTnL for $3000. Even if it is 225 according the VIN check, I think this is a good deal!
My current 97 4runner is my baby and don't want to leave in parking lots for hours under the scorching sun. It has saved my life on 2 major occasions! I think we all have a somewhat good connections/feelings with the 4runners... strange!!!

I am going to pass it.
Mileage is correct:
Heater core is shot, they by-passed it. (Glad I tested it!)
Seller didn't show up, just sent one of his sales man who don't speak English other than AS IS.
Frame, suspension and transmission is amazingly clean.
Search continues...

Yeah, I drove 540 miles for all this. It was 107.6 F in El Paso.
