Hella 55/100W H4 Bulb
Anyone using this bulb. Would seem to be a great upgrade, normal street legal low beam and 100 watts on high beam. Part is HLA-H83140141.

Any overheating of the factory wiring?

I'm using them and have had no problems. I also ran them in my 85 pickup with no issues. They do put out quite a bit more light.

Same here, I don't recall them making a huge difference, but it was noticeable. No issues and I've had them a year or two. After I installed, I started to get condensation in one of my lights. Not sure why, the boot seemed to be on fine after I installed it.

Anyone have a write up of how to replace only the headlamps on the 1996-2002 4runner? I will appreciate your help, thanks.

My 4Runner SR5 4x4 3.4 V6 1998. Tundra 199mm front brake Calipers, 99 front tall springs with stock shocks and OME 906 rear with Tokico U3536, hood w/scoop, Plastidip on the wheels, Cadillac 4notes horns and 99' headlamps.
