Shocks and strut replacement

I did my daughter's shocks and struts the other day. The sway bar end link was totally broken off her passenger side. We went ahead and replaced the other side too as I could see it was rusted some. I can't believe how easy it was to replace the strut assembly on this truck. Much easier than the cars I've done recently.

Would love some advice on the struts/shocks you used! I am looking to do the same for my 03 Limited.

You should post your question in the 4th Gen section for a better response.

agreed you should be in the 4th gen section for your 2003 4th gen 4runner.

but a quick reply is it depends on what you do with teh 4runner, if daily driver & mostly street use, got with used low mile OEM or consider KYB replacements that are priced very fair & will return the ride to as good or better than OEM & provide about 1" lift in the front over stock height.

fyi: 4runners dont have struts, just coil over shocks up front & normal shock in the rear.
