for such a mild lift and a softer ride, I would look into the stock 99 talls all around with 5100 shocks all around, this way you can just change out coils and keep the shocks if/when you want more lift...
fwiw diff drops arent expensive and unless youre seriously offroading you dont need the panhard drop and/or extended bump stops
I always have 200+lbs of tools for work and or a heavy bike rack. Also want to put my jetski back there on my hitch hauler, but the weight may require airbags

I may have answered my own question this morning. Had an emergency stop at slow speed and wasn't too thrilled with the amount of nose dive that occurred. I wouldn't mind a little firmer setup.

Fro, did you get your 906's on? What hub to fender measurements did you get?
Not yet, was going to to it down here in Missouri. But the gravel drive has me sketched out. So hopefully before the weekend as we are camping on lake michigan and i will really need them.
Stock suspension with new rockauto shocks in this pic.

Were your 906's matched with the 5100's for a Tacoma or a Tundra? From what I've gathered, they're much more compliant on Tundra valving. I ordered 10mm trim packers to get another half inch in the rear - my thinking here is if they push the axle too far off center and the back wiggles, I can take them out. With 890's, I'd have to do a drop bracket or adj. panhard.

neither i had them with the OME 60073 "comfort shocks" that were not comfortable...keep in mind that i had no extra weight really...you dont have to do a drop or adjustable, i as well as many others left it alone...i havent even done the ext. brake lines yet either...but again, i dont really offroad tho..

Updated OP with info and pics. I appreciate the advice and feedback.

I'm happy with the height and got more lift than I anticipated. I was a bit nervous since the truck was tall to begin with.

I'm happy with the ride overall. It's very compliant through dips at speed and handles expansion joints well, but the front still feels a little loose through potholes and at times, the truck bobbles more than I'd like. The bobbling may be due to the fact that I'm not used to driving a truck - my other vehicle is an older BMW M3. It could also be due to the Tundra valving.

I changed out the upper and lower ball joints with OEM as well. Next on the list is front sway and end link bushings.
